Can we post all schedule leaks here? Let’s try to do some homework before posting everything. Obviously some will be false, but always fun to hear about it before tonight.
Says source is one of their users (some of those users are legit, not sure if this one is).
Was literally writing a post that said the possibilities for TB at NYG were Weeks 4, 8, 9 and 11 for various reasons, so I could see Week 11.
Also, my guess for the Giants' home-away breakdown for the first four weeks is home-away-away-home. Jets away Week 1, home Week 2, Ed Sheeran concert Week 3, Jets away Week 4 + can't see NFL giving Giants three straight on road in the first month.
Makes sense. People on this Board are clueless sometimes. They see the Jets playing home on Sunday 3 straight weeks and assume we will be away for all 3 weeks. Like they just invented Monday and Thursday night football. Not to mention we could have a bye one of those weeks as well.
how are you guys forgetting that disaster down in Jacksonville in 2014. Last time we played the jags at home was 2010.
Was there and had gone for the last free beer that was included in our catered tailgate. By the time I got back (end of 3rd qtr), the Giants had relinquished the lead and continued to lose. But at least, I had 2 more free beers to drown my sorrow in.
Tom Coughlin will return with the Jaguars to MetLife Stadium to face the Giants in Week 1, per source. The Giants play Week 2 on Sunday night in Dallas. Link - ( New Window )
He just wrote "no back-to-back home games, and back-to-back road games only once early in the season" and ATL "Is a Monday night game on October 22." Also that the bye is smack in the middle of the season.

Indeed it appears the NYG will be toast early like last year. On paper, an 0-3 start is definitely in play as are back to back losses to Philly and at Atlanta. Without knowing the other 2 opponents, 5 losses in the first 7 weeks isn’t good.
Lots of Saints games have leaked from legit sources via Reddit. NYG has NO at home. Based off previous reports, NYG current open home dates are Week 4, 8, 13 and 15...but NO has games lined up for 8, 13 and 15.
I'm going to see if I can put two and two together in other slots as well.

Key words are "on paper." Nobody expected the Giants to start as poorly as they did last year. I am not saying that the Giants will completely rebound this year, but quit being such a nattering nabob of negativism

my question is, when is Philly's bye week? Tell me it's not Week 5 - where they get a full week off, and then we have play them in Week 6 on 4 days rest?

Wow, lots of negative Nancy’s need to hand in their man card Â
after one year people look at the Jags as world beaters now
This.
Every year half the playoff teams don't even repeat, and every year when the schedule comes out we have to hear about all the teams that can't be beaten.

At home 1pm against the Jaguars..... yessssssss lets go!!!! Finally a home game
where are you seeing this
Can’t reviel my source but he’s told me the last 3 openers and times and he was right
All good. Only problem is that Jags is a scheduled ROAD game, so if they are opening vs Jags, it is in Florida.
Wrong
Ok we will see when it comes out of if he’s wrong
Yes, sorry, you are correct, they play the Jags at home this year.
I am with you that I hope it is a 1pm Sunday game.
My bad on Jax. I got it in my head I was looking at 3 games to go to this year and I knew Carolina and Atlanta were two of them.
Must've figured I'd go to NJ for the 3rd.
I dunno. Brainfart.
lol

Watch we'll have @SF the week prior and Philly has a home game Week 5

Jax will go to MetLife this year. 4 years ago, the Giants came to Jax. I'm bummed as I live 30 minutes away.
BREAKING: I'm told #NYGiants will open at home against the Jacksonville Jaguars (Sept. 9, 1 p.m., MetLife Stadium), per source.
It's a Tom Coughlin homecoming.
On road the following Sunday night at Dallas. #NYG @TheRecordSports

Perhaps, then, you shouldn't watch?
But that is based off of 2017. You never know with injuries, how the teams look etc.

Injuries, ebb and flow.......I tend to sway more to the optimistic side of things.
That ball can bounce a lot of funny ways.
I expect the Giants to be better prepared, and coached better on game day. With that, expect most games to be close with a chance to win IMO.
