Watching FS1 and they just reported that if Darnold is gone by 3 than the Jets will take Baker Mayfield as apparently he's the #2 QB on their board.
They also said when Mayfield went on a visit with the Chargers they sent him some plays a couple days prior and asked him to memorize and be ready to talk about the plays. However, he never memorized them and told the Chargers he was too busy to look over them.
Finally, they mentioned the only QB the Giants like in this draft is Sam Darnold.
Two weeks ago, we reported that league insiders believe the New York Jets will select quarterback Baker Mayfield with the third selection. And while Josh Rosen is still in consideration for the pick, those representing the top quarterbacks in this draft tell me they also believe Mayfield ends up with the Jets. Yea I did. What's your point? I also saw Darnold play against Notre Dame and completely shit the bed and cost his team a shot at the playoff. At least Mayfield made a lot of plays in that Georgia game and gave his team a chance to win.
I like Mayfield's body of work and skill set more than Darnold's and think it'll translate into NFL success.

Teammates loves him. Great leader. Great passion for the game. I'd be shocked if he doesn't end up an above average QB. He is way more driven than Sanchez or Manziel
