If they pass on Rosen for Darnold, I will be sad. Darnold is a good kid who has ability, but he is too much of a sandlot player. How many USC QBs have made it big in the NFL? I imagine you could say the same for UCLA QBs, but they did produce Troy Aikman. USC's most famous QB? Todd Marinovich!!!

As far as USC QBs go, I think Darnold has a good leg up on Sanchez (who I thought was crazy overrated) and Leinart (who was a bit harder to figure out b/c of all the talent around him), but nowhere near as good as Carson Palmer was. None of them were. To me, Palmer was the best QB prospect since Peyton Manning. I liken Josh Rosen more to Carson Palmer than any of those other USC guys. Todd Marinovich isn't a fair comparison. No telling how good he might have been were it not for all of his serious personal issues, drug, etc.
