IF we take a QB first (not saying it's a bad idea) it's hard to see this team surviving the early portion of the season. Simply not enough on offense.
We need to nail AT LEAST one offensive line pick in this draft.

They need to hit on an Offensive lineman in this draft badly or you're looking at jones jerry flowers from center to right. Thats pathetic.

When I'm going to the game i like 1 o clock but on tv I like 4.
The majority of the NFL slate is on at 1. Watch those games as an appetizer to the giants at 4.
If the Giants are good, a decent chunk of those 1pm games will turn into 4:15 starts after the bye

okay first off...the defense was banged up first few weeks and we had a tough schedule. the OL badly struggled in those weeks and we had ZERO run game. i get we were bad, i am not saying we are fixed....however adding solder will definitely improve the OL. jones jerry flowers isnt even close to a gaurantee. wheeler could win the RT job, flowers could kick inside. OL play around the league is down, every team has holes and question marks. imo we took big steps to improve the OL.
if the giants draft barkley and hit on a guard in round 2, i see no reason why the offense cannot be pretty damn good. if we could just get the defense to wake up, we wont be a horrible team next year.

Agreed. It makes for much better experience as a fan to have most other games at 1 for RedZone and Giants 4 or prime time.
Oh, how the mighty have fallen.
To me, nothing says Giants games best like the 4:30 games against the likes of our division opponents with other nice matchups sprinkled in.
Doesn't help that we play the most boring division in the AFC this year

Then, upon analyzing it further, I dont hate it as much, given the opponents we had to face.
The schedule is 100% front-loaded. The heavy lifting will need to be done right off the bat and if they do not get 3+ wins in their first 8 games, the season is pretty much toast.
The end of the schedule right now looks like they have an opportunity to win 4 out of their last 5. Which gets you at about 7 wins.
Then you got @ 49ers, home vs the Bucs, @ Philly. Brings me to around 8-10 wins. Without knowing much of anything obviously pre-draft and pre-training camp.

I still have a special liking for 1pm games because for some reason I am still on a 2007-clock where my psycho ex-girlfriend would work from 1-6 on a Sunday. Always loved 1pm games when she was at work and I could watch football in peace.

Cleveland will have better record than that. Indy might be that again. Same teams in the top 3 spots in '19 draft, different order. Do it right, it's a quick (,re-)build for 2020.
That said, I think we win more than that, and will wait for the draft and camp look to see how it might go.
