If so then you may know why Andujar is sitting

There is not many SPs in baseball that doesn’t throw curves and off speed stuff.
Not sure if you’re talking to me, but please list the SPs in MLB that don’t throw off speed stuff. Curve, slider, changeup, etc. All off speed stuff. Are you saying SPs exist that DONT throw those pitches? Only fastballs?

Hello
You know me long enough that we have never had a problem in years of posting ( in fact, I have been pretty complimentary of your good work in the past) and you know me long enough to know I am perfectly aware of what MLB pitchers throw.
Obviously, the comment sought to suggest a reason why Andujar would not be in the game despite recent success
Who knew a non descript post would even generate any response
*and the crowd goes wild*
For what it’s worth, not to prolong the discussion, but Kay was on his show this afternoon completely going off because Andujar wasn’t in the lineup while he’s tearing the cover off the ball. He wanted answers as to why. Then once the game started his demeanor was completely different and he “suggested” that with CC on the mound, there would likely be a ton of ground balls to 3rd, and we all know Andujar has struggled defensively.
Must be someone from the Yanks got in his ear after his rant, lol.
Boone (or whomever is making the decisions) needs to evaluate Wade.
Didi comes through following Judge beating out a grounder.

I worded the post badly. I was searching for a "sabermetric" based rationale. The defensive explanation makes sense from the Yankees point of view.
Its hard for me to make sense of the decisions so far in the season. Are we showcasing Andujar? Developing him? Building his confidence? Paying hunches? Strictly going by what data mining generates?
Take care
Why are you so sure Boone is making any of the decisions?

Are you actually surprised at this? Kay owes everything he has to being a Steinbrenner scrotum gargler.
Just for reference, he's allowed more hits in 38 innings as a starter than in 86 relief innings (44 hits). Three times as many homers, too. Just be glad he's an awesome relief pitcher, because he's not an MLB starter.
