Toe has zero arm. I don't know why he keeps playing over there.
Lind going to get a shot or just insurance while Austin serves his suspension?
The Torres countdown has to be on.
3:35 start where I live. Not a huge fan because it further shortens my productive work day.
i dont know about this. He may just need more work at 3rd.
I thought i'd like it but i'm not a fan. I haven't been getting fully engaged until after 7. It's a little too early.

Yeah - I basically miss the first two innings with the early start. Not the end of the world but 7 would be better. Probably nicer to be at the Stadium with the cold weather, though, with the early start.
As to the lineup - for better or worse going with the LH batters against the RHP, hence Walker and Wade. Not saying I agree, just that that's what it is.
Andujar sitting out is infuriating. Girardi always did the same exact thing, sit hot hitters for no apparent reason. That just tells me that it is the sabermetrics gurus making these calls, not the manager.
first yankees 3rd baseman since Meusel with 3 straight games with two or more extra base hits.
If so then you may know why Andujar is sitting

There is not many SPs in baseball that doesn’t throw curves and off speed stuff.
Not sure if you’re talking to me, but please list the SPs in MLB that don’t throw off speed stuff. Curve, slider, changeup, etc. All off speed stuff. Are you saying SPs exist that DONT throw those pitches? Only fastballs?

Hello
You know me long enough that we have never had a problem in years of posting ( in fact, I have been pretty complimentary of your good work in the past) and you know me long enough to know I am perfectly aware of what MLB pitchers throw.
Obviously, the comment sought to suggest a reason why Andujar would not be in the game despite recent success
Who knew a non descript post would even generate any response
*and the crowd goes wild*
For what it’s worth, not to prolong the discussion, but Kay was on his show this afternoon completely going off because Andujar wasn’t in the lineup while he’s tearing the cover off the ball. He wanted answers as to why. Then once the game started his demeanor was completely different and he “suggested” that with CC on the mound, there would likely be a ton of ground balls to 3rd, and we all know Andujar has struggled defensively.
Must be someone from the Yanks got in his ear after his rant, lol.
Boone (or whomever is making the decisions) needs to evaluate Wade.
Didi comes through following Judge beating out a grounder.

I worded the post badly. I was searching for a "sabermetric" based rationale. The defensive explanation makes sense from the Yankees point of view.
Its hard for me to make sense of the decisions so far in the season. Are we showcasing Andujar? Developing him? Building his confidence? Paying hunches? Strictly going by what data mining generates?
Take care
Why are you so sure Boone is making any of the decisions?
