The Hefty Lefty primed for a comeback?

Mike in St. Louis : 4/19/2018 4:36 pm
Jared Lorenzen has lost over 100 lbs. in a year...might we see him in training camp this year as an extra arm?

"As far as diet, he eats a lot of rotisserie chicken and shakes, snacks on fruit and unsalted cashews, and eschews ice cream in favor of frozen yogurt."

Damn, I eat a lot of frozen yogurt and I can't lose weight...

So, he's down to a svelte 400 pounds!

If he still has those quick feet, another 50 and maybe we can plug him in somewhere on the OL.
Good for him for getting back into shape.

Obesity can end your life. Dying young just because you're fat is ridiculous.

It’s a disease/addiction for some, genetic for others. They need help

And he's getting it. So as I said, good for him.
Proud of his progress

I'm a Wildcat fan and have watched him since his High School days. He's really embraced a new life style and it's paying off for him. I've always wondered what he could've done if he had taken his health more seriously. Very happy for him.
Always loved Jared...

one of the funniest sports monikers I've ever heard is 'the Pillsbury Throw Boy".

I liked him too. He had serious running talent that I believe would have allowed him to play a run option game. He certainly would have struck fear into the hearts of opposing LB's. A 300lb RB who can hustle is no joke!
I wonder if he'll be seeing this guy in his future

Remember that preseason game against the Pats when he led the end around blocking downfield?
I do remember him running the ball...

I also remember how red his face got and a time-out was necessary for him to get back to the huddle and call a play.

He was a great short yardage runner.

Hefty Lefty, J-Load, The Battleship. He-Ate-Me, Mobile-Agile-Hostile-Hungry, Round Mound of Touchdown.

Lots of strong nicknames. And he's got a SB ring.
Wasn’t he on

some sort of weight-loss reality show? It might have been web-based only.
The weight loss is great.

He's not coming back to the NFL, but that's not the reason the weight loss matters, anyway.
3rd and one was never a problem

lost 100, and is now at 302? Something doesn't sound right, but maybe he can sign a Giants contract as a hog mollie before he melts away anymore
How the hell was this guy ever our
