Only catch 1 team, Carolina, coming off of a bye, but catch 3 teams coming off of a thursday game on 10 days rest. I think you should only have to play one of each.
Then this schedule may hasten the end of the "Eli regime".
I could see Eli starting all the games in the brutal first half of the season, but then when the Giants hit the 7 or 8 loss mark, there would be no reason not to play the rookie QB.
I think this is the first time in over 5 years that I really can't complain about the schedule. Seems very normal compared to the rest of the teams. Here's hoping to a good year!

We play the Super Bowl champs/divisional rival on short rest:
Week 5: Sunday, Oct. 7 – at Carolina Panthers, 1:00 p.m.*
Week 6: Thursday, Oct. 11 – vs. Philadelphia Eagles, 8:20 p.m.
4-5 wins pending next Thursday-Saturday. That schedule looks horrible but it's impossible to tell this far out who will rise and fall based on last year.

is ridiculous. We have no clue how good any of these teams will be, but we go through this pointless excercise every year.
I agree. However, you could argue the teams with legit qbs will be formidable, therefore it's not out of the real of possibility (pending a qb injury) that the Giants could be a very middling team next season. I think 7-9 or 8-8 is a very distinct possibility. But a deep playoff run is unlikely. Yet another reason why I believe locking up the qb of the future at #2 is important.
Honestly, 2-6 going into the bye should be considered really playing well against that schedule.
Looked over second half.... It is only slightly better. Optimistically, assuming we manage a split with Dal and Wash, 4-12 is looking like a likely record for this squad. If they win 4.
Of course I was being at least a little absurd... Â
Prime time games can't begin to understand how that happened who wants to watch a 3-13 team?

Not so much funny as SUX! I was there for that game last year. Yuck.
I mean I get flex scheduling, but you would think they would commit to a day if not a time. Fans who travel are impacted.
Is this unusual it have I missed that this happens with regularity?

...putting down wins and losses for a team I hardly recognize anymore. But if truth be told, I stretched for 7 wins.
A long, deep stretch!!! (:-(
