The best draft for next season

I assume you have the Browns taking Barkley at 2.

I would take Billy Price over Ragnow but that is just personal perference. If it went down like that, I would be happy.

I kinda think the same but the value for the OL runs much deeper than it does for pass rushers.

We can get starting OL in rds 2 and hopefully three but it seems the pass rushers by that time are wishful thinking projects.

Yeah, that was the thinking....

unless they are convinced someone else, maybe the Broncos or Colts, are trying to trade up to get Barkley. And both of those franchises have made it clear they want to move back for more picks.

Why not sit tight and just take him at 4? Unless they are convinced we want him at 2 (which I think we do) but then if we both want the same player at 2, I think it will take more than the 33rd overall to make it happen.

and I agree with Fatman regarding Chubb.

Me too. I think he would be fine and still be an effective good player, but not sure you'd get the value of a top 5 pick.

I think Barkley has to be the pick over Chubb no question. Yes Chubb would help the D, but there are questions as to his fit in a 34. There are zero questions about Barkley except maybe his ability to run inside and the overall shelf life of running backs (which is out of play here).

Also aside of Barkley & Guide, Sony Michel and Rashad Penny are going to be studs.

but at the moment, next years draft is not looking as strong at the QB position or the running back position, but it's going to be an excellent draft for D-linemen/pass rushers.

Since we have the #2 pick this year, I'd hope we draft into the strength of it, and let next years chips fall as they may.

I would take a QB either Rosen or Mayfield at 4 rather than Chubb.

After I address the OL - I'd also have to get a DT. If the Giants go 3-4- who is your 3rd staring D-Lineman?

Why would the Colts trade up to #2 after trading out of #3?
