Not saying this is the direction the giants should go in but what do you think would be the best draft they could have to make next year's team most competitive?
In an ideal world to me it's
Trade #2 to the Browns for the #4 and #33 pick.
4 Chubb DE/OLB
33 Willy Hernandez OG
34 Frank Ragnow OC
66 Rashad Penny RB
69 Duke Dawson CB
108 Marcel Ateman WR
139 Marcus Allen S
Yours?
I would take Billy Price over Ragnow but that is just personal perference. If it went down like that, I would be happy.
We can get starting OL in rds 2 and hopefully three but it seems the pass rushers by that time are wishful thinking projects.
Why not sit tight and just take him at 4? Unless they are convinced we want him at 2 (which I think we do) but then if we both want the same player at 2, I think it will take more than the 33rd overall to make it happen.
Me too. I think he would be fine and still be an effective good player, but not sure you'd get the value of a top 5 pick.
Giants get Colts #1 in 2018 and #1 in 2019 maybe some other stuff but I'm not interested in trying to figure out what it might be...
Rd.1 - Quentin Nelson, OG, Notre Dame
Rd.2 - Sony Michel, RB, Georgia
Rd.3 - Orlando Brown, OT, Oklahoma
Since we have the #2 pick this year, I'd hope we draft into the strength of it, and let next years chips fall as they may.
After I address the OL - I'd also have to get a DT. If the Giants go 3-4- who is your 3rd staring D-Lineman?

Why would the Colts trade up to #2 after trading out of #3?
;)
Better?
1. Barkley
2. Isaiah Oliver
3. Ragnow or Smith
4. Jamarco Jones or Geron Christian
5. another CB or a S
