was friendly with a girl from his hometown who dated Avicii several years ago. He had a major drug problem at the time. Sad, but hard not to think that this is related.

Yup. One of my friends in high school had connections in California because he was a "producer as well". He was in the music business by 19 or something and he told me people used to pay him to take drugs at parties and he would get invited every night with beautiful women all over the place.
Mr. G also claimed it was very easy to get hooked, they had to put him on so many medications for his drug treatment when he moved back to NJ and find his humble roots (delivering pizza and weed). I think he started doing heroin, too. I'm sure he's celebrating 4/20 with everybody else on BBI.

Huh?..... What the hell is "neon"? I've been in the edm scene for over 20 years and have never heard that term. Edm is house, trance, techno, etc. It's all encompassing. Neon?!?
