How many years have they been told to call a higher strike zone? Enough is enough with all the borderline or low calls. They can't be hit and the average player isn't 5'7 anymore.

He's complete trash. If we're lucky, he'll eventually get it together and bump himself up to being at least an average starter. This team will really need a top end starting pitcher if they seriously want to compete for a shot at the World Series.

But they need to stop alternating wins and losses if they even want to think about that.

Look at what the Cubs had in prospects a few years ago and what they have today. They still have rotation issues. I think everyone is playing the same game now and clear prospects are worth holding on to unless you need to make a move. We are not one starter from being shoulder to shoulder with the Astros.
