want next? Going with the assumption that pick 33 and 35 are part of the trade. I want to see more trades getting some extra picks for 2019. I would like to see the Giants set up to deal for extra picks each year in the draft while taking one or more players in each round. 2nd round picks can be accumulated with day two trades because as future picks they only have 3rd round value. The Giants have an extra pick in round 3 also and if they trade down with one of the 3rd round picks they may be able to really load up for 2019. The catch is you have to make picks available that other GM's will want, that however should be less painfull each year as you accumulate more attractive picks that you never would have had. I think this would also prove to be very wise if the QB at 4 does not pan out. The Giants will have draft capitol to pursue another QB. This is what I am thinking but I highly doubt DG follows this path.
I want the Giants to draft a guy other teams game plan against, not a lineman that needs a year in an NFL weight room, a CB who needs to work on his ball skills, and a WR who has difficulty separating.
So, using The Huddle Report Top 200 as my predictor of availability, here goes...
#04. QB Josh Rosen
#33. OG Will Hernandez
#34. CB Carlton Davis
#35. LB Lorenzo Carter
#66. OT Orlando Brown
#69. RB Kerryon Johnson
108. DS Armani Watts
139. WR Dylan Cantrell
34 - Sony Michel - RB
35 - Mike Hughes - CB
66 - Kemoko Turay - DE/EDGE
69 - Equanimeous St.Brown - WR
34 - Sony Michel - RB
35 - Mike Hughes - CB
66 - Kemoko Turay - DE/EDGE
69 - Equanimeous St.Brown - WR
That would be a homerun
This rationale is moronic
Bingo. Not sure what others thinking is. if you plan on taking a QB you take him with the number 2 pick. Not going to risk losing who you want.
Agreed
Assume Allen, Barkley goes to Cleveland and the Jets take Mayfield/ Rosen
Darnold, Chubb and Nelson are available....
They were not going QB due to wanting to address more immediate needs.....but with the extra picks.
They feel more comfortable taking Darnold.

Obviously order means nada in that particular scenario within the 33,34,35 ers.
I just think it's for right now (RB) and how you build teams (OL,DT)...which will also show immediately assuming those picks.
And when I say DT I mean DT not tweener or third down specialist.

33 - Isiah Wynn - OG
34 - Sony Michel - RB
35 - Mike Hughes - CB

69 - Equanimeous St.Brown - WR
That would be a homerun
Grand Slam. That plus one of Rosen, Allen, Chubb, or Nelson at 4 would be insane.

It depends. There could be reasons that you believe the QB you covet most won't be selected by either the Browns or Jets. You have to be convinced that your intel is correct, but if you are, it may be worth the perceived risk.
It wouldn't be worth the risk to me. But if your GM has a set of brass balls he might. Dropping down and still getting Rosen to me at #4 would be my ideal scenario for Gmen...
You aren't getting to 10 with that.
The Jets will have either Darnold, Rosen and Mayfield to choose from or Allen instead of Darnold.
Giants at 4 would have a choice of 2 of those 3, or go with Chubb/Nelson. That plus the players I listed above would make the trade a no-brainer, right?
