It's kind of misleading to list Latimer as signing for one-year with a $975K salary. He received a $1.5M bonus and his salary is guaranteed, so it's really a one-year $2.5M deal (including the $25K workout bonus). When comparing the pluses and minuses of free agency for purposes of the compensation formula, Latimer will count as receiving $2.5M, ergo that's how it should be listed on the "scorecard"...

Are you dense or something? I told you when I have the information, I provide it. I get the information from news articles or tweets. I haven't seen any info on his contract yet.
So you think I am deliberately misleading people regarding his contract. Why would I do that?
Moron.
And the section I was talking about was the one labeled "Free Agents Signed From Other Teams" of which only for Latimer is the total value of the deal not given. Riley's is also given only as a salary, but his salary also represents the total value of the deal. So if someone is only looking at that section and the section on free agents the Giants lost, they could mistakenly assume that Latimer's compensation is only $975K.
I don't understand why it's such a big deal. A mature person in your position would've just said, "Thanks for the heads up, sorry for the confusion" and then gone ahead and made the change to Latimer's compensation.
p.s.--It's pretty sad that you take advantage of your status as owner of the site to call me a moron, but if any of us were to return the favor we would be banned.
You posted twice I was MISLEADING people. WTF? Do you know what the word misleading means?
I update that section when I see the contract details in articles or on twitter. I do not use OTC or Spotrac to later update that information. I suppose I could. But instead of you saying, "Hey Eric, friendly suggestion but I recommend that you use OTC or Spotrac to update those figures" you say, Eric is "misleading" people.
BTW, in case you haven't noticed, people call people names here all the time. You just basically called me a liar.

...Most importantly, don't make things personal. If someone disagrees with you, be the bigger person. Don't launch into personal attacks and don't respond to personal attacks. This is one of the easiest ways to get into trouble around here.
