Average of the top-10 cap hits by position for 2018

From Dawg's thread - I know, I know, we have to get the best player but the numbers for edge rushers and Qbs are startling. Which is why I lean Chubb and/or QB, such immense value if they hit on their rookie deals.

Average of the top-10 cap hits by position for 2018 (good barometer for positional value in draft):

QB: $25.5m
RB: $7.1m
WR: $12.9m
TE: $9.5m
OT: $13.3
IOL: $11.0m

IDL: $14.1m
EDGE: $16.0m
LB: $10.8m
CB: $13.7m
S: $10.2m

K: $4.1m
P: $2.9m
...

The economics of getting league average play at QB for 2-3 years at 31M (4 years total) is difficult to ignore.

If a drafted QB starts in 2019 he'll make less money than the dead money Manning would get if cut.
