No inside info here, just asking what if.

Earlier in the week, there were wild rumors of a 3-way deal involving the Browns, Bills and Giants. Now, we have other insider rumors indicating that the Browns and Giants have at least talked about moving the #2 pick for the #4 plus other picks.

Suppose the 3-way rumors were not really of a 3-way deal, but a 2-step trade by the Giants. Step one is to deal #2 for #4 and other picks. What is step 2 is to deal the #4 pick to the Bills for #12, #22, and other picks?

What would the reaction be if after all was said and done, the Giants ended up with 2 1st rounders, somewhere between 4-5 second rounders, around 3-4 3rd rounders and other picks?

Again, no insider information- just asking for reaction.

What insider rumors are you talked about except somebody creating them here or other team boards or media creations?

For this to be true, Gettleman would have tomorrow be impressed by the quarterbacks, have the browns be infatuated with Barkley, and have the bills desperate for a qb.

If the giants trade down twice in round one there would be such a ridiculous number of elite picks to build your team with.

I would focus on a two year rebuild and try to conver some of the later picks in return to 1st year picks in next years draft.
Can't pass up a 3-way

Interesting quote by Gettleman
sharpshooter66 : 4/21/2018 3:04 pm : link
"Sometimes you have to look at it this way and I'm not saying this is the way I always look at it, but sometimes you have to look at it this way," Gettleman said. "We're all in school, do I want to get an A and four C's or do we want an A-minuses, a couple of B-plusses, and a couple of B's? Winning requires depth. If you don't have depth - I've seen teams that had great defenses that folded in the fourth quarter because they had no depth, and now you've got guys on the field for 95-98 percent playing time. You can't win that way, guys wear down. So there is obviously different ways of looking at it depending upon what the A looks like. But if you get a chance to accumulate quality, you put yourself in a position to potentially accumulate picks, and have a lot of very solid players. There is nothing wrong with that."

I wouldnt write off anything, but wouldnt expect a move until the Giants are on the clock
It goes without saying, everyone loves the extra premium picks

But I sense, most here wants at least one blue chipper.

So if we do end up trading down once, twice, hell three times........a trade back up ( with some of the extra picks) to get a Nelson.....would be general consensus.

I suspect, the QB is must crowd, would want some ammo next year to use for the all elusive future franchise be QB.

If he comes away with an A and 4 Cs hes failed

whether he trades or not he should get at least an A and a B in rounds 1 and 2 at the very least. He should get an A and an A- staying put. I doubt they trade down to 12. The premium picks seem to be around 7-8 and if you factor in 2 or 3 QBs I think you will be left out at 12. If they trade to 4 they are staying put.

Factor in that DG has never traded down in the 1st round, he is not going to do it twice.
Trading down only makes sense..

IF the Browns draft Darnold & NYG has a close enough grade with Chubb/Nelson in comparison to Barkley. I’m assuming they’d draft Darnold if available. And all this assumes there is another willing party (CLE/DEN) which I doubt.
