Final GBN Draft Report Big Board Rankings (Aprril 22nd)...

M.S. : 4/22/2018 6:18 am
...and also see positional rankings!

As Colin notes:

"...our rankings are based on our best estimate of where NFL teams have players ranked rather than our own grades."

All I can say is I wish we had the first 10 picks of the Draft!

Agreed

But I would settle for the first three. Then everyone could be happy!
I'm confused on how they rate players
ZogZerg : 4/22/2018 7:57 am : link
If it is based on how they feel teams have players rated then how is Rosen #2 ????

Everything I have seen has Darnold as the top guy as far as teams go. This includes a number of "polls" conducted by media types of team GMs.

Where is GBN getting info that is different?

Hmmm

Colin has Jaleel Scott at #248 and again at #335. And Javon Wims is #259 and #347. At least he is consistent as to where they stack up relative to each other!
I think they are saying, ‘this is who we think each team will pick
Ivan15 : 4/22/2018 8:08 am : link
if there are no trades’

So Browns pick Barkley #1, Giants take Rosen #2, and the Jets take Darnold #3.
So they think Browns will take Barkely at #1
ZogZerg : 4/22/2018 8:20 am : link
Then shouldn't this be a mock draft?

Very confusing.
Thanks Colin!!

How did you determine ST on the notes?

What it really means is Top 100 going in Top 100 for Huddle Report competition
If you go by these rankings
Earl the goat : 4/22/2018 9:22 am : link
The Giants can easily come away from this draft with
1. Barkley RB
2. Will Hernandez OG
3. Nathan Shepherd DT
3. Darius Leonard OLB
4. Kevin Toliver CB
5. Holton Hill CB

This I feel would be a home run draft

Huh??? If you go by Colin's rankings Barkley, Hernandez, and Nathan Shepherd would all be off the board when the Giants are on the clock.

Milton. You are right. But I really meant plus or minus five spots where these players are ranked
I believe
GeoMan999 : 4/22/2018 10:38 am : link
This is a ranking of where they feel teams will pick. Rosen has the injury designation so perhaps they are saying that Rosen would be number two, but teams may shy away because of the injury risk.
Turay at #70?
KWALL2 : 4/22/2018 2:12 pm : link
Giants pick at 66 and 69.

We need pass rush help.

If he’s there, he’s the pick, and we get the steal of the draft.

Problem is he may go top 50.
Nice Draft

I wouldn't mind a Center instead of Shepherd Raginow possibly and maybe a WR in place of one of the CB;s .
Based on that

Here's my 2 mocks, first with no trade, second involves the rumored trade down to #12 with Buffalo.

NO TRADE
Rd 1, #2 - S. Barkley, RB PSU
Rd 2, #34 - C. Davis, CB Auburn
Rd 3, #66 - J. Reid, S Stanford
Rd 3, #69 - B. ONeill, OT Pitt
Rd 4, #104 - J. Jones, OT Ohio St
Rd 5, #130 - M. Haynes, OLB Miss

TRADE W/ BUFFALO
Rd 1, #12 - M. Davenport, Edge UTSA
Rd 1, #22 - J. Jackson, CB Iowa
Rd 2, #34 - T. Crosby, OT Oregon
Rd 2, #56 - J. Reid, S Stanford
Rd 3, #65 - J. Sweat, Edge FSU
Rd 3, #66 - B. Smith, OT/G Auburn
Rd 3, #69 - E. St Brown, WR ND
Rd 4, #104 - J. Baker, OLB Ohio St
Rd 5, #130 - B. Scarborough, RB Alabama

I'm not sure I'd be upset with either of these scenarios.
