“I am told that’s Kraft trying to speak for Brady and his camp, and they don’t necessarily agree with that,” Garafolo said on NFL Network on Wednesday. “However, it’s a) not a pressing issue and b) it’s not anything that’s contentious right now. But that Brady would absolutely be interested in revisiting this contract.”
Garafolo added: “Yes, the contract is part of it, but I’m not saying that this is necessarily a ploy by him to get that deal from the Patriots and say, ‘Come on back.'”
When it's not about the money, it's about the money.
But I don’t think money is the real issue here. The Malcolm Butler saga is. I firmly believe Belichick cost the Pats a SB for one of the most inexplicable decisions ever. And that dark cloud now hovering over this team is not going away anytime soon.
This has the chance, ironically, to do the same damage to the Pats that Butler’s interception did to Seattle after SB49.

Agree on Butler. Still do not understand it. Has any explanation emerged?
BB should look in the mirror. He had a relationship with a married secretary who worked for the Giants while he was here. I love BB, but he's not some saint himself. The Butler thing can't be that bad...or can it?
Quote:
rumor from a person who works Patriots security (I overheard a conversation - he didn't say it to me directly) that Malcolm Butler was involved an off-field incident at the Super Bowl send-off party that is both salacious and unsavory and if true would explain multiple events that happened since then.

Its not that difficult to do something worse than consensual adultery. Thats not even a crime.
I thought it was that Butler was the 'rat' used in the ESPN story.
