Round 2 wishlist?

(assuming Barkley)

A few days out now, and if you believe that Darnold is going #1 (I do) and most of the other reports that NYG is down on the other QBs and high on Barkley (again, I do), seems like there may be more intrigue around the 2nd rounder this year.

So, assuming NYG has Barkley wrapped up early on Thursday night. Where are you going on Friday night if the pick was left up to you?

There are some viable options on the defensive side of the ball; pass rush, CB. But for me, with Barkley in their back pocket, I want another quality piece for the OL to help solidify what should be (hopefully will be) a totally revamped rushing attack next season.

That said, I had been focused on the interior OL all along and I think I would still go that route, but the Flowers no show changes things and I'm not sure he's even on the roster after next weekend leaving RT without much of a plan right now.

I would target James Daniels out of Iowa, with an eye on RT possibilities if he's gone.

Curious to hear what others think.

think the Giants will draft Tyrell Crosby. I'd draft Isaiah Oliver, but think the Giants would still take Crosby. They can always take Duke Dawson in the third. Oliver may well go in the first anyway.

It all depends on rd 1.

They may not take Darnold at 1. If they really want the RB it�s good to keep the pressure on Cleveland and then Darnold may fall to the Giants. Very interesting possibility?

He'll probably cluster draft OL on day 2 and also look at some LBs and DBs on days 2 and 3. I dont like getting caught up on positions, but if he has guys graded right and there is value, he'll take into account position. He likes to cluster draft

we'll have picked either a QB or RB already.

I've got to believe we'd go OL in the 2nd round, no matter who we pick in the 1st. It obviously depends on who falls to us through the first round, but I'd think that one of Daniels/Hernandez/Price/Wynn will be available. So I'd go with whoever that is, in the order I've listed them.

LB and OL in 3rd round: the former to help with the transition to 3-4 and the latter because, lord, we need all the help we can get there. Hoping Carter and Ragnow are still available then.

Carter and Ragnow are two of those prospects that they mean when they say they could go anywhere from late 1st round to early 3rd round. There are a handful of others like that as well, including Crosby and Orlando Brown.

I would trade Barkley to Cleveland for the number 4 pick

available, but I feel like 95% it will be an offensive lineman. Most of this group of guys like Wynn, Daniels, Price, Braden Smith, Miller, etc. will be available. If they draft a QB first, then I can see them looking at available RBs if Michel and Guice are still there.

focus with the second pick. I also think there's going to be a lot of capable guys available there at guard and tackle.

Wynn and Braden Smith are the guys I would focus on. I've cooled off a bit on Will Hernandez and I'm not sure if Daniels or Price will be available.
