He's a better football player, even in his diminished state, than the other WRs currently on the roster who'd play opposite from Beckham. We have too many other needs to spend a high draft pick on a WR this year.
I don't want Dez. His BS will be a big distraction. It's not an "if", it's a when with this guy. He is not worth the trouble. His motivation to stick it to JJ is not going to sustain him in December if we're not in the playoff hunt.
I really like the guys we have on the roster. We've got some decent prospects to sift through. Lattimer, Powe, Bundy, K.Johnson are all big, tall & rangy. I'm anxious to see if Lewis & Randolph improve with this staff.
Many here will refute this idea, but Marshall could be back later. Just because he couldn't pass a physical in April doesn't mean that he can't pass one in May. June, or even July. He could be back, where he has been, signing a reduced rate contract and then working out with the Giants in order to be in a position to possibly earn a roster spot and/or a starting job opposite OBJ.

That it must have killed Dallas to have to get rid of him, and probably would have taken a pretty legitimate reason for them to do so. As in him being damaged goods and/or completely in decline. It's not like they have a whole lot at WR without him.
He's also a headache and a circus act on the sideline.
I kind of like the idea of him spiking the ball in the end zone of jerryworld. But I don't see the Giants bringing him on. Got to be better than the guys that were trotting on the field at the end of last season.
and extrapolates that Randolph is my savior as the #2 guy....
Go get plooked, plooker
I'm not sure what this means, but I replied to your post because I don't know who Randolph is, but I also haven't been as up to date with all the free agent moves, etc.

in the NFL in TD catches the past two seasons, I'm not convinced his issues were as much separation as they were a combination of things.
He's clearly not going to be 2012 - 2014 Dez, but he could easily fill the role that was supposed to be filled by Marshall.
If he is affordable.
I wouldn't break the bank for him, and would love something incentive based, but I think he still has value left and it has zero to do with being motivated to play Dallas.
That’s a fair take. I don’t think he’s completely cooked but i don’t know if he’s worth much anymore either. Maybe dak isn’t as good at throwing guys open like romo was? Could be...
I’d get on board but on the surface wonder if he’s really any good anymore. Jackrabbit made him look pretty bad two years ago/
One who takes liberties with his female companions, especially after a hard night of drinking / drugs. Usually involves bending her over and giving it doggy-style or even up the rear.

I wasn't even offended because I had no idea what it meant, and honestly still not offended because that dude is legit unhinged.
I asked who Randolph was an he escalated to nuclear and attacked me for not knowing that Randolph is apparently Travis Rudolph.
The Marshall Plan failed though the thought was solid. For the right price it would be worth finding out if Dez has something left. The idea of him helping us Beat Dallas twice a year is delicious!
If Gettleman/Shurmur tandem thinks he can contribute then I respect their decision. If they wouldn't touch him with a 10 foot pole, I respect that decision too.
.... If you would've actually asked who Randolph was I would've caught my mistake. I did mean Travis Rudolph. I got his name wrong. Go ahead and jump all over it and spend half the day figuring out a word that I don't even know the meaning of. I used it because as far as I know it has no true meaning. That's probably why Frank Zappa used it in place of another word. That's where I heard it years ago. No offense intended, I just didn't understand why you had a question about Travis Rudolph. Sorry I called him Randolph. It won't happen again and those TPS reports will be on your desk by Wednesday morning.
Considering the other players the Giants have who might be distractions (OBJ, who's debatable, and Eli Apple) then adding another to the mix with a new head coach might be too many to deal with while Shurmer does his thing to get command of the locker room.

Holy shit dude, you need a therapist. I wasn't busting your balls, I was asking who Randolph was, I even explained in my next post I didn't know who you meant.
That's what "Randolph?" meant, as in who is Randolph.
Maybe you need a therapist for the simple fact that you could've just let it go, but instead you just have to make something of it. You are a prime example of what is wrong with BBI and the world in general.
Go smoke a joint or something. You uptight ones are prone to lose it when you can't find enough order in your world. Learn to just move on instead of looking for confrontations. Sorry I named got the name wrong of one of the players. There's only about 80 of them, but I should've checked the roster first. If I have caused you any trauma please accept my most sincere apology.
it and attacked you by simply asking a question is why you need a therapist and far more indicative of problems in society than me simply asking a question and then standing up for myself when you insult me.
I said "Randolph?"
and that immediately set you off and you became very defensive because I was unclear who Randolph was.

but sure try and turn this around to me being an aggressor or making this into a big thing. Go back and read the thread, the internet is forever. You could have just said "sorry, I meant Rudolph not Randolph" and this would have been no issue.
He’s never been the most cerebral of players and despite the social media clips of him working out he’s never been the hardest of workers or the last guy in the film room. Even if he’s decently motivated, and I’m sure he is or will be going forward, this isn’t marvin Harrison or issac Bruce or Jerry rice we’re talking about. Another year older....
It's mostly those who haven't paid any attention to the Giants locker room recently or anything Dave Gettleman has done to fix that issue thus far that want Dez Bryant.
We do have a hole @ WR - it is a need. We will probably have to draft a WR within the first 3-4 rounds and hope he can help in year one.
Dez isn't the answer.
Dallas does not have a replacement for him on the roster and let him go anyway. That should tell you what they think of his ability right now.
If he was the same player he was before, he'd still be in Dallas.
After I realized what happened I acknowledged my mistake. You just now acknowledged that you made a big deal out of it. Chill out next time and just feel secure in the fact that you know who I'm referring to and leave it at that. I clearly was not hostile and just joking with you. Learn to take the high road.
This is pretty much how I feel.
I might even be able to turn him into a Safety and then trade him for picks.

Randolph?
Giants have a pretty massive hole at #2 WR.
.
I guess somebody is cranky and ready for the draft to come.

No to Dez....draft a kid that wants to play.
