Anyone else love Taven Bryan?

If there's a Joey Bosa, J.J. Watt type in this draft it's Bryan. He looks very disruptive from the 5T spot. Even in a 34 - there are really 2 interior players and the other DE is more of an edge player. (The position Calais Campbell played for Bettcher.) Bettcher uses an attacking 1-gap 34.

The Giants have their 2 interior guys in Snacks and Dalvin Tomlinson. I like Bryan as the outside component. To me he's got top 10-type ability and if he starts to slide, you gotta take a look

Perhaps we see something like the Giants trading down, then using their extra picks to trade back up for a guy like Bryan.
Guessing his mama

I do. Agree he would be a great fit for our new scheme.

One of a handful of guys I hope is on the board at 34..

But let’s be honest, he is nothing like Bosa, and he isn’t on Watt’s level at all.. maybe you threw him in with those two names because they are all white guys...?

I can see Bryan being a lot like Sheldon Richardson on the next level.
Yes and would be awesome to see him wear blue

but I don't think he is going to slide. I think the opposite. I can see him going earlier because of what you mentioned. He seems like a safe pick.

I'm really intrtrigued by the OL that could be available. Would be perfectly content staying put in Rd2 and grabbing the best OL or player that slides.
He’s been my hope

I did run into a weight on this player from only a few years ago of 250lbs.

Which might raise injury concerns (may not carry current weight all that naturally in bone structure).

Additionally, I am biased towards legit multi purpose larger DTs that can function in all ways DL wise, including run stopping, in order to manufacture great variation in gap responsibility.

..and in order to keep the ILBs clean so they can move.

So, I won't mind seeing him make plays elsewhere for a few years.

Good college player

I don't see him being a great pro

High floor / Low ceiling
Bryan was solid at UF...

but let's not confuse his production and skills with Warren Sapp. He should have stayed in Gainesville another year. I think he overreached coming out...
