Predict the Giants picks

AdamBrag : 8:31 am
This is a thread for predicting who you think the Giants will draft, not who you want the Giants to draft.

I'm not going to predicting the first round pick, because that's been done to death. Instead, I'm going to focus on all of the other ones. Looking at Gettleman's previous drafts, here is what he seems to value/not value:

Abnormally long arms (nearly all his picks have this)
Looks athletic on tape, does not need to test athletically
High football IQ

Here are some players I think will interest the Giants:

Offensive Tackle

Chukwuma Okorafor, W. Michigan - 34.5" arms and massive hands (hand size discussion!). Okorafor plays nasty and projects well to the RT. The Giants have traditionally liked younger players and Okorafor is only 20 years old despite being a senior. Gettleman drafted Moton from W. Michigan and Moton played right side so Okorafor could play left side there. As an added bonus, his name is really hard to pronounce.

Other considerations: Orlando Brown, Oklahoma; Tyrell Crosby Oregon

Interior Offensive Line

James Daniels, C, Iowa - Daniels has nearly 34" arms, which is crazy for a center. He's also an early entry with upside. If the Giants are using more ZBS concepts, he's a really good fit.

Other Considerations: Frank Ragnow, Arkansas, Wyatt Teller, Virginia Tech, Colby Gossett, Appalachian St.

Wide Receiver

Deon Cain, Clemson - Gettleman selected two big bodied WRs (Benjamin and Funchess) for Carolina, but I think that was due to the scheme there. Another commonality they had? Long arms. Cain has above average 33" arms and he is a smooth route runner, something I think the new coaching staff will want.

Other Considerations: Daurice Fountain, Northern Iowa, Auden Tate, FSU

Edge Defender

Dorance Armstrong, Kansas - Gettleman has traditionally valued long arms and productivity out of edge defenders. Armstrong has nearly 35" arms and was very productive for Kansas. He also looks a lot more athletic on tape then he tested. Armstrong is also a high IQ player, something Gettleman tends to value in his linebackers and Armstrong could play SLB in a 34.

Other Considerations: Duke Ejiofor, Wake Forest, Ade Aruna, Tulane, Lorenzo Carter, Georgia, Ogbannia Oronkowonkwo, Oklahoma

Interior Defender

De'Shawn Hand, Alabama - I don't think there's any perfect fits for the Giants, but there's a few decent ones. 34"+ arms for an interior defender. He looks very athletic on tape. He also had more of an impact on games than his stats indicate, something the Giants organization usually values more then others. He offers versatility which I figure will be valued for this defense.

Other Considerations: RJ McIntosh, Miami, Rasheem Green, USC, Justin Jones, NC St.

Linebacker

Darius Leonard, South Carolina St. - Crazy 34"+ arms for a linebacker. He was ultraproductive at South Carolina St. He looks more athletic then he tested and he has a very high football IQ, something Gettleman values a lot in linebackers.

Other Considerations: Oren Burks, Vanderbilt, Azeem Victor, Washington

Cornerback

Christian Campbell, Penn St. - Aside from long arms (and Gettleman doesn't seem to care about arm length for slot corners), Gettleman also seems to value ball skills in corners. There's no great fit, but Campbell did have 12 passes broken up last year. Duke Dawson is a legitimate candidate as a slot corner with 4 interceptions and 9 passes broken up.

Other Considerations: Carlton Davis, Auburn, Duke Dawson, Florida, Isaiah Oliver, Colorado, Parry Nickerson, Tulane, Brandon Facyson, Virginia Tech

Predicted Mock Draft:

Round 1: Yawn
Round 2: James Daniels, C, Iowa
Round 3a: Chukwuma Okorafor, OL, W. Michigan
Round 3b: Da'Shawn Hand, DL, Alabama
Round 4: Darius Leonard, South Carolina St.
Round 5: Dorance Armstrong, Edge, Kansas

Obviously my predictions are 100% correct, but just for fun, who do you think the Giants will pick?
