Josh Rosen New Interviews

I'm not sure where the character issues are coming from. He interviews very well, and comes off as intelligent and well spoken. I'm all in on this guy.

I'm surprised the general consensus is "If the Browns take Darnold, than the Giants will take Barkley because Darnold is the only QB the Giants would take."

I really doubt if the Giants want to draft QB, that only Darnold is the guy they like at the top of this class. I'm not buying that for one second.

With his character or his passing. Too risky from an injury perspective. Just takes too many hits, I feel like we would be going from Mr. Reliable to Mr. I Better Draft/Sign a Good Backup QB.

Great post. Likeable, funny, highly intelligent kid. I hope he's the next Giants QB. Period. People don't like him because he comes from a privileged background. Some are just biased against that and some think he won't have desire because he doesn't need it. I have news for them, Tom Brady is married to the wealthiest supermodel in the world. He doesn't need football but he has a desire to be the best. Rosen claims he wants to break Bradys records. I'll take him number one.

I know right? Where did this only Darnold stuff come from?

changed about Rosen, read this Michael Silver article about him on nfl.com. Seems like someone who may drop and wind up the best QB in the class (if he stays healthy).

the wrong way because most coaches want to be like do this and have their QB or any player really just do it. Josh Rosen though wants to know why and questions everything. Not to be difficult but to better understand things and to be better. However it gets tiring to have to explain everything. If you ask your son to go brush his teeth and go to bed.. Why? so your teeth stay strong and healthy now go... why do I need to go to bed? Because you need rest for school tomorrow now go... Why do I need school tomorrow. To learn and better yourself now go... Why do I need to... GET YOUR BUTT IN THERE AND BRUSH YOUR DAMN TEETH AND THEN GO TO BED!

Amazingly mature for his age. And sound like he’s destined for the booth in 15 years.

Is the type of qb that the Giants could look back at in 10 years and really regret passing on him. It seems very similar to Dolphins 08 situation where they passed on Matt Ryan and have never really found the answer since. I understand the concussion concerns, but a year on the bench should allow him to pass those issues entirely.

I, like many of you, have a hard time believing the Giants only like Darnold and, Rosen seems custom built for what this franchise values most at the qb position. I think if he's not the number 1 pick Thursday, the Giants should run to the podium make him the choice and never look back.

I want Rosen. I don't see the character issues. He seems like Eli with better accuracy.

but I am concerned about the two concussions.

talent would have him #1 overall, the concussion stuff really, really scares me however.

Rosen was asked if he ever, at any point, say he did not want to go to Cleveland. Rosen said he did not.
Was it Rosen's camp that "dissed" the Browns, or something Rosen is trying to cover up now?

The Browns were always in love with Darnold's ability to create in and out of the pocket. I don't think they seriously considered Rosen.

He knows the value of playing in NY as opposed to Cleveland or San Diego (other QB's have dissed lesser venues). Eli was strategic and Rosen has been as well. There isn't a Giant fan in the world who hates Eli for what he said about San Diego.
