Mark Bowman has confirmed Ronald Acua will join the Braves on Wednesday. Acua set the baseball world on fire during spring training, but the Braves elected to play the service time game and send the 20-year-old outfielder to Gwinnett. He was eligible to debut 10 days ago but the club elected to hold him down in the minor leagues as he struggled early on. Acua is batting .300 (12-for-40) over his last 10 games and went 2-for-4 with a double and walk on Tuesday night.

I'd be fine with the Giants taking Acuna at #2 at this point.
He started off slow but he has been hot over the past 10 games. The timing is a bit odd as Tucker and Markakis are playing well. I am wondering if he might see some time in CF due to Inciarte's slow start.

exactly mashing against AAA pitching to start the year, so I find the timing of the promotion a bit odd. We'll see how he does versus tougher MLB pitching.

Tucker has cooled off and Inciarte is playing better. No chance they sit Ender so Tucker can play more.
Outfield will be Acuna, Ender, Markakis
Enjoy!
Enjoy!
Not this one, mfer. NOT THIS ONE.
Luiz Gohara is close also so once Soroka and Gohara arrive I assume McCarthy might move to the BP which would be a big boost. It's that final BP spot that is killing them. That and Snitker's bullpen usage which has been horrendous. They have a couple of outstanding RP's in AA that appear ready. Snitker has to use Jesse Biddle more. Freeman was a great story last season but he needs to assume the LOOGY role. I wouldn't be against using Gohara in the BP if the Braves are in the hunt.
Albies, Swanson, Newcomb, and Minter are playing well. I don't think the Braves will win a WC spot this season but all the experience that these kids gain this year will play a big role in the future. The Braves will also have over $70 million to spend in the FA market.
Yeah it is, Eric is terrible at spelling. Shh Eric is very sensitive about it.

interesting.. the equivalent would be Barkley.
Filthy is on record for wanting Barkley as the #2 pick. set in stone.
The 438 people who go to the game will love them!

Once Soroka is up they will have the three youngest. All three hyped as cornerstone pieces. Fkn exciting.

Good, hopefully Culberson is next.
The odds of that happening are about as good as the Browns taking Allen 1st overall.

Guess I jinxed him.
Acuna sure looks good too!
He's so inconsistent. I think he will eventually put it together but that'll probably be in a year or two.
One comp that for Albies is Altuve. For the record I am not saying that Albies will be as good as Altuve but their style is similar.

Guys, this does not look like what you want it to look like.
