Some more time. Keep in mind we arent committed to him long term. Hes got the stuff. I think he has to be given an ultimatum: adjust your approach or we can have Montgomery fill your role.

Side question: if Stanton keeps struggling, do you drop him again once Bird comes back to maximize the L,R and the top 6 hitters? Have Sanchez at 4, then Bird, then Stanton, then Austin?

As I type this Austin drives another one.

they are averaging a little over 6 runs a game so far and the weather hasn't gotten warm, plus Stanton/Sanchez haven't gotten hot yet
