at 2 depending on who Cleveland takes. I refuse to believe that Gettleman watched film of the last two years and came to the conclusion that Eli can revert to a great player again and that drafting a RB this high is the missing piece for a 3-13 team unless it actually happens.

Word for word what I think. There is simply no way a competent GM and coach could come into this place and say, hey, let's build around our 37 year old QB coming off a 3-13 season when our conference is stacked with SB contenders.
Eli will be a cap cut next year so that DG can buy two more hogmollies, and we'll have Rosen and Webb competing for #1 in 2019. Rosen has a slight edge and starts for 6 games, but he gets injured and Webb plays Steady-Eddie so we make the playoffs after missing them again in 2018. Webb plays like Good Foles in the first playoff game, and we actually win the first round game and lose the second in OT. BBI, still f jilted by Eli's jettisoning but happy with a playoff win, splits into three camps in the 2021 offseason: Team Davis, Team Josh, and Team Eli Forever. Chaos ensues.
Browns Darnold
Giants Barkley
Jets Rosen
