My Giant mock draft-No trades

uconngiant : 4/25/2018 10:06 pm
1. Barkley RB from Penn St. Best player in the draft as the Giant's don't love any of the quarterbacks

2.Frank Ragnow C from Arkansas. Mauling big interior lineman who can play either guard spot or center his natural position.

3a.Lorenzo Carter OLB from Georgia. Fast outside linebacker who can get after the quarterback and is improving playing the run.

3b. Duke Dawson CB from Florida. A very good cover corner who needs more work tackling

4. Cedric Wilson WR from Boise St. A tall receiver who has good speed and wins the 50/50 balls.

5. Brandon Parker T from North Carolina A& T. Big mauling tackle who can play inside but is solid at RT. Is a project, but well worth the pick.

Still, need help on the defensive line but this tackles a lot of what they need going forward.

great selections. But I would be very concerned about the QB position and no reasonable expectation of fixing the QB problem (now and in the foreseeable future).
Not bad

I wonder if Ragnow is more of a round 3 guy though.

I think you hit the positions of need on the head (assuming QB is not taken #2).

RB
Interior OL
OT
EDGE
CB

Obviously an ILB and DL depth would be nice, as well as receiver, but I think the other areas are more pressing needs.

A lot of so call draft expert think that way, but my guess is nfl gm's will know better. He plays with an edge. I don't know for sure where he'll go, but I think he has first round value.
If no trade, this would be a very solid outcome...

Only issue is I would love to see two OL in first three rounds... but certainly has to be best player available in every case...no exceptions!

Good job.
Good job

But I'm hoping they have 2 new OL's by the time they make their second third round pick.
