How do you just add a London team? How would the next expansion work?

Jags would move there under this scenario.
With a growing fan base in London,

Khan has cultivated a following abroad by ensuring the Jags play there every year. With his soccer interests, Wembley would be a nice asset. I wouldn't presume it is about "moving" the Jaguars. But more like, a franchise that is home in Jacksonville and home in London. Shad gets the best of both worlds.

People have to keep in mind how wealthy he is. Tisch, Jerry Jones, and the like aren't even in his stratosphere. Mara? Forget it. John couldn't afford the dinghy for Khan's yacht. Shad is a businessman and any acquisition of assets is just to make more money.

Shad is a king in Jax. His next project is to develop the Shipyards in downtown Jax making the waterfront around the stadium as a destination sort of like the Inner Harbor of Baltimore.
Did they get rid of all the upwind paper mills in Jax ?

If not, the place will never be a destination for anything more than a septic tank convention !
The writing has been on the wall

with this for a while. I'll give Khan credit for being a lot more patient than most others have been. I think the team is in London by 2022 at the latest. This will be an issue when the next CBA is negotiated.

They have been gone for decades. The biggest hurdle to the Shipyards, is that it requires environmental remediation.

As football fans, it is easy to draw the conclusion regarding the Jags. But when you look at the bigger picture, it is just another asset to Khan's growing empire.

He understands how much money is made at Wembley stadium from the Premier League, Concerts, World Cup, Euro Cup, Champions League, possibly Olympics again one day, AND hosting a couple NFL games per year. By owning Fulham, he now provides a home stadium for them without having to pay to play there. NFL want to play in his stadium? Sure, it will cost.

DG wants the game international.
Beijing Pandas.
Keep in mind the offer for Wembley
Diver_Down : 4/26/2018 9:49 am : link
is only a half a billion - a tiny fraction of his net worth.

Also, for those that are interested and the BBI Tailgate contingent that was at the last Giants/Jags game, the immediate next development is the Lot J Entertainment District. The area in which our tailgate was catered a few years ago is gone and is now the Daily's Place Amphitheater. The area adjacent to the stadium and amphitheater will be the new entertainment district.

Is Fulham back in the Prem in 2019

Need to win their final 2 games and get a little help or else take the spot in the playoff. Quite a difference from Craven Cottage to Wembley
Just looking at the asset-
Diver_Down : 4/26/2018 10:06 am : link
Wembley cost $1.5B to build. Shad's offer is for half price. He can than charge others to use his stadium. Having that much money is just silly. I see another super yacht in his future. Better just to have a yacht in each country instead of sailing the Kismet across the pond when he wants to use it. Keep in mind, the Kismet cost $95M to build.

When this was still in the offer stage, Kahn said that Fulham would still play at Craven Cottage if he owned Wembley.
