I think he makes the most sense given the current landscape of this roster.

I'm willing to take a chance on his boom/bust potential given the fact that he would have time to develop and a top QB mind to develop him.

Give Shurmur a chance to earn his money. I'd be confident in the results.

It would lower my expectations for this franchise in the near future substantially.

he isn’t my favorite but I would be excited about the pick. It would really mean the Giants think he can be very special. I like Rosen and Darnold a great deal more though. Those two are gonna be special.

I'd take Rosen, Mayfield and Darnold before Allen.

Allen is going to be a very good QB for somebody. It will take some time, but he has an enormous upside. He will need an excellent HC and QB coach.

Into Allen's innaccuracy concern, and they think he checks out, then I'll be happy with the pick. If inaccuracy is not a concern, than Allen is a Elway/Luck level prospect.

considered I think this draft, at least the first round, will be a big disappointment for a lot of fans. To me a QB is a no brainer and I don’t believe the none of these QBs are good enough line. I think it would have more to do with winning now, or Mara worried about the backlash. However, a lot of people feel differently. As of this moment it doesn’t seem like they are going QB which is gonna annoy me, but hopefully they will.

I also feel for the other side of the coin those that don’t want a QB or love Barkley blindingly.
