Don't sleep on Picks 20+ in Round One...

M.S. : 4/26/2018 10:01 am
...while the Giants could conceivably trade back up into the end of the round, the real nail-biter will be how many offensive lineman get selected.

Combing through a variety of mocks, the "consensus" seems to be that as many as five lineman could go from 20 - 32, especially:

Cincinnati (#21)
Buffalo (#22)
New England (#23)
Minnesota (#30)

I'll be watching these teams real close. If any of them pass on O-line, then the odds increase that a real good player (like a Daniels, Hernandez, Miller, Ragnow or Wynn) could shake loose for the Giants at #34!

Go Giants!

I'm a bit nervous about it, as I think pick #34 has to be the best available OL.

Don't like the idea of them trading up though, as it will cost them a pick...and every pick is precious this year.

Is a guy I would be comfortable trading up for in that range.

O-line and Edge... two big needs for us. And a backstop for Eli Apple would also be welcome!!!
If not for McGlinchey or C.Williams

Don’t want to see it happen nor do I think it will happen.

Trading back from 34 is what I predict will happen. Get 2 later 2nd rounders or a get mid 2nd rounder and a 3rd.
if Giants take an OL at #34

look for a versatile guy that can play 2 positions (Wynn-OG/OT or Price-C/OG or someone similar).
This is why I'd love a trade-down

Giants have so many holes. Need more picks later in the 1st and in the 2nd rounds.

Trading down is so tempting (not to mention a lot more exciting). But how and when to find Eli's eventual replacement?
