Julio Jones Deletes all Falcon Related

BigBlueDownTheShore : 4/26/2018 11:59 am
social media a few days ago.

There are some rumors he is disgruntled.

I don't think there was a thread on it, or maybe it was stuck inbetween the endless mock draft and or we should take "x" person thread.

Anyways, I wonder what's up with him.

Is an all WR boat trip.
Must be contract related

Next three years he's due $10.5 million in 2018, $12.5 million in 2019 and $11.4 million in 2020.

I'm sure he wants to be closer to the going rate now which is $15-17+ million.
A disgruntled diva WR in the NFL??

Of course there is... there's only one. He plays for the Giants!
The story that day seemed to be just click bait

He deleted all his Falcon related stuff, but if you read down the article the TEAM relayed that it was just JJ looking for a 'fresh start' on social media. Don't know if there was more behind that story but that was the gist of what i read.
Well they just took a WR

Great damage control by the Falcons. 🤥

Ridley is a great complement for him there.

Whoever was talking about Ridley after they picked him.. I think it was Herbstreit or McShay (I'm only half looking at the TV now) were on the money.

Ridley is going to be a better pro than he was in college.

All he did in college was get open and make plays when the ball went his way, but Hurts is a crappy passer and Alabama is always a run-heavy, defensive minded team. They don't air it out much so Ridley just didn't get opportunities.

He also got open a million times and Hurts would just not even see him or miss him.

Put him in the pros now with Matt Ryan and teams focusing on Julio Jones and he's going to make a lot of plays
This would be fairly consistent for the falcons

They traded away quite a bit to move up and draft Julio Jones when they still had Roddy White. This make sense, especially as it's been clear that Jones's can't stay healthy anymore on a consistent basis.

Jones didn't miss a game last year.

He remained on the injury report for most of the second half of the season, and the games in which he was struggling with his injuries were obvious.

Well, he caught 18 passes for about 200 yards in the 2 playoff games they played so the injuries must not have been that serious.

He still had like 1500 receiving yards.

He's banged up a lot but the production always winds up there anyway. I don't think Atlanta is all that worried about it.
