Possible draft night trade?

mai71 : 4/26/2018 1:00 pm
This is a trade that has a lot of moving parts and needs three teams to make it happen. I'm assuming that the Bills, Browns and Giants get what they want. Yes t's a big assumption but here goes.

Bills trade up to the Browns at 4 and the Browns get the Bills 12th in the first. The Browns also get the Bills second round pick.

The Giants then trade down to four with the Bills and get their 22nd pick in the first round plus a pick in the fifth round.

If the Browns, Bills and Jets pick QBs 1, 2, 3 the Giants again assuming no strong conviction about the top four quarterbacks can still pick the remaining QB out of the one that hasn't been drafted. They can also pick from Barkley, Chubb or Nelson the so called "gold jacket" players.

This is what I came up with after all the speculation on BBI. I basically see everybody's point of view and feel that we are going to be happy with whatever pick they come up with in round one.

I would hate that.

That would be terrific for the Giants, imo.

I'll be very happy, and very surprised if it goes down that way and the Giants pick up the 22nd pick and STILL have their choice of Barkley, Chubb and the guard from Notre Dame.
Works for me

if the Browns take Darnold. Still get a blue chip talent and pick up #22 plus a little more.
It's rare to get that much value,

but Diehl was a 5th-rounder, wasn't he? So, the 4th, the 22nd, still have the 34th and then add a 5th?

Seems like a no-brainer (assuming there's not so much interest in a "top 3" QB.
Browns won't do that.

Browns drop from 4 to 12... that's a big drop man, you pick up a 2nd rd pick but lose out on a blue-chip, premium player.

Don't think Cleveland will go for it.
This assumes

the browns trade down from 4 to 12 for only a second round pick? I can't imagine they'd even consider that...
The 3 way trade has been discuss for a while

Buffalo will need to give Cleveland more 2019 1st

I suspect the Giants will take it....if they are going non-QB....and still can get their top choice.

This has been my ideal scenario

Agree, plus I believe Cleveland already has 2 or 3 second round picks. Cleveland's best option is to sit tight and grab two blue-chippers at the top of the board.
Not nearly enough for us or the Browns

If we get our guy

would need next years 1st from Buffalo to sign off on it though. 3 way trades are tough to pull off
