Gettleman: We all know he can catch the heck out of the rock. He can pick up the blitz. He's powerful, runs through tackles. ... This kid makes our quarterback better, our line better, our receivers better, our defense better. He's going to be great for our culture.
Why? That's like the Jets saying it will be a bitch if Jackson is there for their second pick. One is a far superior prospect to the other.
Either one can get you 1000 yards.
But only one can get 1600+.....and what about the passing game?
1600 yards rushing? That's aggressive. I feel like we've done well with guys who were less than amazing pass catchers at RB. We tried this experiment with Shane Vereen, who might as well be a WR. How often did they throw passes at him for all that money they spent.
1600+ also includes receiving yards
no it didn't he also said 600 yds passing. 2200 yds or he's a bust, that's what the man said.

Yep. Our #2 is gonna have to be his own blocker.
But many teams see him as OG only
We already have Ereck Flowers.
Hopefully without all the baggage.

Id take that even if he had the baggage. The Giants need nasty in the worst way along the OL, especially considering who they took at 2.
