The first two episodes are free, then you might have to sign up. I've never signed up for Youtube Red, but I think there is also a free trial with that too.

I'm halfway through the second episode, and it's a lot better than I thought it would be.
I've been a Youtube Red subscriber for over a year

Their original content has generally sucked, but it would be interesting to see if they're starting to pick it up. This series is an interesting concept. Netflix and Amazon Prime got off to slow starts with original content themselves.
I need this

I thought it was outstanding. Lots of 80's nostalgia/inside jokes which, maybe, younger viewers might not appreciate, but I sure did. Very funny, too, but never insulting. Very respectful to the original movie. An excellent homage.

When the first Karate Kid movie came out, I was back in college after a hitch in the Army, and I was working nights as a bouncer in a nightclub. There were seven of us, and, naturally, we referred to ourselves as the Cobra Kai.

Yeah, a song by our old band got picked up for use in an early Netflix series called "Hemlock Grove." We didn't know what episode it was featured in, so we had to sit through at least 3 or 4 until we found the scene featuring our tune. It may have been the worst thing I've ever seen on a screen, and that includes the Giants' last season.
