Eagles’ starting DT Timmy Jernigan underwent surgery on a herniated disc in his back last week and is expected to be out four-to-six months, league sources tell @FieldYates and me.
Definitely but the more you weigh the worse it is/can be. Add in his profession and it’s not a good mixture. Normal sized people come back from back problem much more easily. One of the best ways to help heal your back is to lose weight.
we didn’t PUP JPP in 2013. He had surgery that June and should have had this timetable, IMO. Sounds like they are handling Jernigan much more realistically.

This has to be a different type of surgery. I had a micro discetomy done and was bike riding 25-30 miles three months later. I remember Steven jackson had the same surgery I had at around the same time and he was ready by training camp, again, 3 months later.
as would jogging even 3 months post surgery. This is a 300 lb man twisting and exploding toward another 300 lb man. The best rehab money can buy won’t make his comeback easier than a normal sized persons.
Classy....
Nor anyone else.
Not cool. Way to put the jinx on the Giants for celebrating the misfortune of others.

He’s just adding to the rest of his worthless posts.

I think they are tight on cap space and as is might have to make some moves to sign rookies or rework a contract or 2. Last time I checked.
Hankins would have to be pretty cheap at this point.

This must be worse.
maybe it wasn’t the fusion but more complicated than the typical MD.
