Congrats to Snacks on his graduation!

BigBlue4You09 : 5/5/2018 2:27 pm
Maybe this would explain his absence?

“Officially a graduate & #127891;& #128104;& #127998;& #8205;& #127891; of THE William Penn University! Mom I did it!! Wouldn’t have been possible without my wife, Coach Hafner, & papa Hafner! I’m still in shock. Officially WPU Alum @WPUAlumni #WeMadeIt”
Would be nice!

Wouldn't want him to have to walk back his immediate jump to the conclusion that Harrison isn't the leader we believed him to be.
Congratulations

Bless you, man. Be happy. WE are.
Doesn't really help him on the field.

Should've taken care of it on his own time, and not sacrificed time with the team (voluntary or not). Disappointing sense of priority.
Congratulations, big day for him.

Shows a lot of character as evidenced by his fooball play and locker room presence. Great pickup JR. give credit where it is due.

Not a good use of sarcasm, you almost sound serious.

Dude, I'd like to know all the reasons you've missed a day of work.

Completing school, when he completely does not need to for his professional wellbeing or advancement, shows commitment and dedication to completing his goals. He'll be just fine for the season.

What people feel like they are entitled to expect of these men... I swear I don't understand.

You might be wrong about that. Frees him up to be the best he can be with one less distraction and feeling good about himself. We will see.

I think might have been intended as humor?
Congratulation to Snacks!

From what I remember about WPU, it's not an easy school like some Basket Weaving Tech schools.
Sure hoping, fellas.

Welp, guess this is why we shouldn't assume

that when players don't commit to voluntary OTAs there's some nefarious reasoning behind it. Evidently people have lives other than football.
That's great. Congrats, Snacks!

In case you weren't being sarcastic, he did do this on his own time. He hasnt missed one mini camp session or camp session or regular practice. Good for him.
I’m not sure why so many think
BigBlueShock : 5/5/2018 6:19 pm : link
that Mad Mike’s post was sarcasm. Reading that post, nothing about it screams sarcasm to me. I think you’re all giving him way to much credit. It appears to be serious and he should be embarrassed, but I’m guessing he’s not. It’s the level of intelligence that has infected this site for awhile now

naah ... Congrats Snacks.
Gettleman did mention I believe
Dave on the UWS : 5/5/2018 8:01 pm : link
that the team was aware of the reasons. If this is it, I would think Snacks wanted to keep things quiet. He's a pretty private person. And one of high quality apparently.

He’s not that private, he’s very active on Twitter (as evidenced by this tweet).
Very cool.

Makes me even more proud that Snacks is the only Giants jersey I've purchased in quite a few years (since I bought a Beckham jersey in his rookie year).
Sure the Giants well know as a class organization

knew his reasons and were good with it. Glad for him,

Yep he’s one of the easiest “stars” (very underrated one) to root for. Smart, humble, a leader, etc. Very proud to have him as a Giant.

I wouldn't consider Beckham's rookie year to be "quite a few years" ago, but maybe that's just me.
and don't forget -
