Last 3 or 4 games he has come thru big time. Think Austin will go the SWB when Bird is ready (thought that would happen anyway since he has options left). Walker also (knock wood) plays a good 1st base and has been solid on scooping balls in the dirt.
Drury, of course, could also factor in there.
