"cheap" jerseys???

Mike in St. Louis : 5/8/2018 8:25 am
no, I'm not selling them...anyone ever hear of Champion Fanatics? they have been touting "half price" Barkley and Aaron Judge jerseys all over Facebook (as a sponsored site)...

I linked the Barkley ad...here is the URL to the Judge ad...

I buy from Fanatics at times with no problems.

Are they the same co.?
do I get free shipping
pjcas18 : 5/8/2018 8:36 am : link
with 15 pcs?

without clicking the link, my guess is fake, Chinese, low quality knock offs, but they probably are cheap.

and I think what they did was combine two names like champion and fanatics to fool people into feeling like they've seen them before, but i could be wrong.

I ordered a fake chinese LT jersey off ebay. the 5 in 56 is an upside down 2. I needed it for a halloween costume one year and it worked for what I needed, so if you have low expectations give it a shot.

They are definitely fake

And a rip off. Aliexpress or dhgate sells the same jerseys for like 15-20 bucks.

Reuben at Fantastic Goods was BBI Man of the Year in 2006 IIRC.
Cheap jerseys?
Greg from LI : 5/8/2018 9:35 am : link
You need to talk to Joey in VA on that one.
Of course they're fake

I bought a "fake" Tuck superbowl jersey in 08. It's been washed many times, and still looks new.

Why anyone over 25 would pay $100+ for a "real" jersey is beyond me.........
Reuben was the man!

Got an Eli '07 SB jersey from Fantastic Goods. Love it I think it was like $40 shipped.

Joey in VA sells jerseys. Cheap to BBI members.
These sites used to just be plain ole bootleggers
jcn56 : 5/8/2018 10:41 am : link
with access to facilities offshore (usually China, but not always) who were looking to make a buck on non-licensed merchandise.

Things are a bit dicier now - a lot of these sites pop up and they're basically just credit card harvesters. You think you're ordering, when in fact all you're really doing is handing over your credit card information to an untrusted third party.

Obvious sign #1 - the TOS page, which is still on their prior name, Gains and Bucks.

Sort of related, sort of not - a few years ago I found a Rodney Hampton jersey on ebay for like 40 bucks. Was basically authentic. The numbers were screen printed back then and it's a pro cut - identical to what they wore on the field. Pretty good find. Fits me perfectly too.

I bought a few soccer jerseys to play in from Ali Express. They were between $12 and $15. The numbers and the lettering fall off fairly quickly, but I figured that I'm just going to run around and sweat in them. The shirts have lasted quite a while. The only thing is you need to buy one size larger than you normally would.
These Days Anybody Can Create Their Own Online Store...
Jim in Tampa : 5/8/2018 12:54 pm : link
To sell cheap (not authentic) jerseys, jackets, caps or whatever sports or non-sports-related merchandise they choose.

All one has to do is sign up for an account with one of those turn-key, online store platforms (like Shopify)...

pick a Chinese retailer who will drop-ship (so you never even have to touch your products)...

test some Facebook and Instagram ads...

and you're in business.

I'm not saying it's easy to make money this way because competition is supposedly fierce and I've never actually tried to do it. But nowadays it is easy to set up an on-line store to sell just about anything.
Dhgate app has many sellers and Jennajersey.com

Not scams, check the reviews...

Just grabbed a judge jersey from dhgate... Well see what happens...
