My question is after Adams played well how come he didn’t get a crack at it when Thompson clearly stunk up the joint. I want Adams to get another chance.
Either they'll eventually lower their asking price, or hope that some team will finally be willing to pay it out of desperation, say, if they lost a starter due to an injury.
or Adams is much of anything......they don't make plays, they make tackles after the fact....and neither is good in coverage....
Looks like DG should upgrade the position, but he will either dumpster dive, or hope one of these guys will be willing to sign cap friendly one year deals....the pass rush is in question, so we need to strengthen our DB positions....
and FS is a position teams often go the bargain route on, it could be that simple.
Could be that simple, but I don’t think that is the full story. Kneeling for the national anthem, whether you agree with it or not, made the NFL controversial in a way that is bad for business $$$$. Would be shocked if the owners did not talk about the issue behind closed doors.

Thompson was so disappointing in coverage and was a lousy tackler. I wondered the same thing regarding Adams: why wasn't he in there?

I think that's a separate issue, and one I'll stay away from.

If it's the politics, tough shit.

Every owner, individually, can pretty easily see for themselves that the protests aren't good for business. Collusion isn't necessary.
