NFT: Google Chrome Issues in Windows 10

Rover : 5/10/2018 11:08 am
Our office just migrated over to Windows 10, and since then a ton of websites, more than not, I'm getting told my connection is not private.

I click 'advanced' and then 'proceed'...the website opens but it loads really poorly with missing text and images.

This as mentioned goes on all the time in chrome, yet when I try the same webpage in Internet Explorer, it loads fine.

I got to think something is up with the internet settings, have and of you dealt with this before?

Thanks.
Could be a few things

First check that the date and time are correct on your computer.

Is this the new turn it off and back on again?
Probably weak ciphers or allowed SSL protocols from the host

Chrome and others are trying to force websites to get with the times so are throwing errors when connecting to poorly run websites. If it's internal, have IT google SSL protocols and cipher suite. Nothing that you can do as a user.
do as above

Also if they installed a new firewall they may have it configured improperly.

I guess there is nothing I can do?
That stinks.

Proxy settings

Compare your proxy settings in IE vs. Chrome. Maybe with the Windows 10 migration, they changed some proxy settings in IE that didn't automatically get updated in Chrome.
Also weird

Everyday when I go to chrome, I have to login again to every site. This did not happen before the switch...
