and Batwoman, the cartoon version. Margot Kidder as Lois Lane, not so much
RIP, of course. Of note, her dating history is pretty impressive...DePalma, Spielberg, Richard Pryor, former Canadian Prime Minister Pierre Trudeau (father of current PM Justin)

Roberts kept standing next to Cheryl Ladd so I never really got to look at her.

Haha indeed, note that I remember her most from Beastmaster, where she played a scantily clad slave girl
She got rheumatoid arthritis in her forties and was on steroids for years which attributed to her bloating and aging. She also had to have multiple surgeries to maintain movement in her joints. Horrible disease.
judge though. I thought the Magic Garden ladies were hot, and I think they were carpet licking in between takes.....
I bought their DVD to see if I could figure why I was so enthralled by them as a kid. Couldn't figure it out, but if I put it on my kids will stop what they are doing and watch it.
One ended up being batshit crazy and the other one morphed into looking like my uncle Paulie with a deeper voice.
Margot Kidder was bipolar. Mental illness is a serious thing, she didn't simply 'go batshit crazy'.
And Kathleen Turner aged terribly, but in her day she was smoking.
I agree. For a time, Kathleen Turner was a total smoke show. Romancing the Stone and Body Heat, hello?! And! She's the voice of Jessica Rabbit. hubbahubba.
Bipolar is no laughing matter. At a time, Margot Kidder was quite lovely. I saw some of her early pics. Beautiful in a word. But mental illness has a way of destroying all of that. RIP, Lois.

I had to eat my breakfast in front of the TV watching them. You could not pry me away from those bitches. Must have been some of that subliminal shit going on in the 70s. You know, like naked ladies in the ice in the Coke ads. Shit like that.
Janet never was in the league of the other girls on that show.
I'm surprised no one has mentioned the following, as a kid growing up in the 80's watching reruns of these shows...
1) Barbara Eden (I Dream of Jeannie)
2) Elizabeth Montgomery (Bewitched)
3) Maureen McCormick (Brady Bunch)
Back to the topic, even as a kid, never liked Kidder as Lois Lane. It was badly cast and later on read that Anne Archer almost got that role. I think she would have been a perfect Lois Lane.
Thought Major Nelson was a total dick. I mean, she's a genie, she will do ANYTHING, you're her fucking MASTER, fercrisakes, and you want to date other women? In front of her? Always thought he was the biggest dumbass on TV.

I kinda liked Bob Newhart's wife, too.
+1.
And Pleshette was already a petite smokeshow before that series; with nice thumbs too.

Turner had to take medications that made her balloon like Jerry Lewis. As noted above, Kidder was bi-polar. I hope some of the guys commenting in this thread never get sick. Heads up: it’s a humbling experience .
Quote:
Linda Grey from Buck Rogers, and of course Lynda Carter as Wonder Woman.
Erin Grey.
Very hot.
Linda Gray...from Dallas...not so hot.
Right! Erin Grey!
But Turner in Body Heat was ridiculously sexy.
And much hotter than Linda
RIP to her, though - she clearly had some demons and lived a pretty rough life at times.
Heather Thomas was on The Fall Guy.
RIP, of course. Of note, her dating history is pretty impressive...DePalma, Spielberg, Richard Pryor, former Canadian Prime Minister Pierre Trudeau (father of current PM Justin)

I never found her smoking. Romancing the Stone baffled me.
Body Heat
Also, Yvonne De Carlo as Lilly Munster.
The joy of reruns.
Pass granted.
Yes, to the Pussycats.
Then? My girlfriend at the end of high school and 2 years into college ... Josey. True story!
(Shut up.)

Also some weird trivia...Buck Rogers (Gil Gerard) was married to Connie Selleca in her GAH days.
Here is some weirder trivia...Gil Gerard dated my first cousin before he married Connie Selleca.
FMIC please give some warning before you post that. That should be bannable like long cat or something

Beez did you graduate from Bayside High???

No. But my Dad did. Commodores, baby!

What's with all the extra snarky a-holes today?

Even as a kid who was really too young to figure out why, one of my first crushes from TV was Loni Anderson.
Others:
Jeannie
Heather Thomas
Lisa Turtle
Janet Jackson (Diff'rent Strokes, not the too young version from good Times)
Elizabth Shue
That's just off the top of my head.
I am kinda surprised she made it to 67 ... She had a tough bout with Manic depression.
Good for her for staying strong.
Dude your're old. Not as old as Beez, but still
Hell yeah.

thirded.
Sneaking off to see her in The Hitchhiker on HBO was a great moment for young JPK
I was hoping someone was going to bring her up. I was in love with her and our sixth grade teacher looked just like her.
