I just heard that Giants.com message board is shutting down. Not sure that it matters to any of us since we don't use it, but we may see an influx of new posters here soon from there.
Just joined BBI because I heard it was the second best fan message board. I was a member of the Giants.com message board and am sad it is shutting down. I brought this up on that message board, but what do all of the fans here think about trading Eli? I think we should trade him to the Rams for Jared Goff. They need a vet to put them over the edge.

Strong start. This is like going 2-3 with a doube and 2 RBIs in your first game.
Hopefully the Giants reach out to Eric about making BBI their MB Â

Nice opening statement...moron!
RE: Jesus, they just let all those mental patients out on the streets Â
The Giants are excited to announce that our focus has shifted to cultivating a better social presence on our Facebook, Twitter and Instagram accounts, where we hope to continue the meaningful discussions on all things Giants.
After years of using the message boards for our Giants fans, we have decided that the new social media platforms are the fan favorites, and beginning on July 13, 2018 we will no longer provide access to the message boards. We invite all of you to continue your relationship with the Giants on your social media accounts.
This is an extremely difficult decision, but it is obvious that social media has overtaken the digital world. In addition, it became apparent to us that it was nearly impossible for the third-party message board software provider to keep up with the number of fixes that these boards have needed, and will continue to need to keep them operational. With the emergence and popularity of social media, we have seen the total number of users who are active on the message boards drop significantly over the years, and the majority of all NFL teams have removed their boards.
Thank you for participating on the message boards. We look forward to hearing from you on social media. Note that all data and information on the message boards will be permanently deleted on July 13th.
not perfect, the new manual registration process here has substantially cut down issues.
It's a bit labor intensive from both sides, but it is working.
Eric I have a suggestion to improve this process. I used to belong to a Disco Biscuits message board for discussions about the band and the evolution of their songs. But in order to filter out the morons who were at shows just to party, wanted to fit in and really didnt know about or even like the music, we came up with a series of 15 questions.
We would allow a probationary eligibility while the answers were reviewed and voted on by the full board members. The questions should be 10 Giants related and maybe 5 pop culture related with the Giants questions carrying more weight. Votes in favor would be deducted for gramatical errors (the severity of which would determine how many votes. For instance, saying "for all intensive purposes" would carry much more negative weight thrn misusing "then" or "than"). I think it is a good way to make the board accountable for its new members.
Fwiw, I was unanimously voted into the Biscuits message board because I profoundly answered every question with "SIIHB". I think adopting a similar policy here would only be fair and would make this place the true bastion of great Giants to and fro that you always imagined.

Yep, guess what Facebook used ARUP (Average Revenue Per User) on their 10K filing with the SEC. Guess what, loyal NFL fans...you've been monitized! And we know you're stupid enough to go along with being a commodity!
You'd think people would remember what Barnum said...
We're doomed.

After all the hard work Eric has put in all these years, he deserves it.

About as funny as a wet fart in church.....

When I was relocated to NC, I used it to find Giants bars in the area and met some really great people through it.
Who?

There's a rousing endorsement for the feeder system.

Just food for thought.
Correct, unless you use the less conventional spelling for blast.

SIIHB is not an acceptable BBI-onym.

Notice the word "similar" right before "policy" you handjobs.
GOOGLE TRANSLATE: Ok, we've decided to smarten up with the rest of the NFL. Message boards were a pain to moderate, and didn't provide income. Now, we can sell all your clicks to advertisers, and make some cash on the side.
