and carries it very well. Some of these OLs, even the good ones, look like pumped-up balloon versions of normal people. Solder looks like he should be the size he is.
I think that he will beat out Flowers for the RT job.
I am too Jay. Wasnt he a projected first rounder going into the year before he came out but slipped for injury?
He has very good feet and thats really the tough part. I am excited to see how he has improved.
Chad Wheeler had a variety of issues heading into the draft. The injuries were serious, but he also had character concerns as well. Some of them were ugly.
Los Angeles officers responded to a man at around 8:45 a.m. PT (11:45 a.m. ET) who was possibly under the influence of drugs or alcohol, punching walls and windows, and injuring his hands inside an apartment in South Los Angeles near the USC campus, said the law enforcement sources close to the investigation. The man was identified as Chad Wheeler, a junior and an offensive lineman at USC. He ran out of the apartment after hitting at the walls and windows, the sources said.
A fire department official said units responded after receiving a police alert involving a 21-year-old USC football player who was a “barricaded suspect” with a 20-year-old female friend and her 7-month-old son. … The man came out of the residence, (Los Angeles Police Department spokeswoman Jane) Kim said, then “ignored the officers’ commands and ran back into the kitchen area.” She said the officers were concerned that he could grab some kind of weapon, so “a use of force occurred.”
The sources did not go into detail about the exact nature of what led police to use bean bag rounds, a less lethal form of force.

I believe Boylhardt had a 1st round grade on Wheeler. IIRC there was speculation that he would have been a day two pick had it not been for the injuries or off the field issues.
If he weren't playing football he'd be in the NHL Â
With his frame, it looks like he could even add another 20 lbs and it wouldn't show much.
Solder IS huge! But Wheeler is a gargantuan young man.
