It is very sad. Especially when kids are involved. I think this stuff happens more than people realize. Even though we have evolved as a society, i think human nature still leads to the wife being given preferential treatment in many cases unless there is blatantly obvious abuse on her part. That being said, you have to wonder why this guy would have kids with this woman because something tells me she didn’t start acting like this right after they had their first child.

I know a guy whose wife is abusive. He’s completely emasculated. No self-confidence even though he’s a great guy,solid job, strong salary for this region. She drinks and throws things. He’d have left if not for his two sons. She makes that threat too. If he leaves he’ll never see his boys.
