It is interesting that Tom Quinn, former Giants Special Teams coordinator, hasn't been hired by another NFL team. Or has he? According to Wikipedia hasn't found another assignment.
As bad as the special teams have been over the last several years, I was amazed that Quinn kept his job for so long. Looking at Wikipedia it is interesting that the Giants are the only NFL team Quinn worked for.

I’m sure he will catch on somewhere as an assistant at some point, pro or college. It’s all about relationships with these jobs, not always about talent or track record.
...come all within
You'll not see nothing like the mighty Quinn.
The Giants probably did him no favors keeping him for so long. ST coaches cycle through the different teams pretty regularly. But he stayed and stayed leaving no doubt of his talents or lack thereof.
Quinn was at B.U. only a couple of years after Coughlin was HC there. Another unfortunate B.U. or Syracuse pick up from that pipeline to go along with some head-scratching draft selections.
Just making an observation. No ill will toward the man. Just making the point that he has not been snatched up by another team.
to say the least.
Thanks! Yes, Coughlin was BC & Quinn BU, so there wasn't a connection there. I confused them.
But my observation regarding some draft picks remain, though it's hard to know what other influence there might have been.
In 11 his unit was a key contributor in many key games.
Always makes me laugh when we fans dismiss a guy as some kind of joke when he has risen to the level they have. Not everyone makes it to the NFL
I believe he had the #1 defense once in Pittsburgh but that was mainly because of Cowher. I was actually excited when he was hired here. My friend who is a Steelers fan was glad to see him go. I quickly learned why. I couldn't stand his scheme. He was constantly asking players to do things that they weren't comfortable doing.

Yes his teams contributed in some key moments. But his career with the Giants clearly went a bridge too far...
I also realize Quinn s tenor with the Giants was often laced with mediocre to poor play by his unit
I just get turned off when fans, myself in included, dismiss anyone who has gotten to the professional level as if they are some kind of clown.
It is arrogance born of not really understanding the amount of work and ability that goes into being in the top 1% of any given profession, which being in the NFL is.
Was not trying to be a contrarian here.
Lighten up. Quinn made a helluva lot $ doing a subpar to poor job over the years.
