Both teams hate the stadium. Unfortunately it had to be something of a closed stadium design because of the meadowlands winds, but architecturally it's incredibly uninspiring. And too big. A dome is stupid but they should've taken a cue from Seattle and added overhangs. And capped capacity at 76,000 or so.
You get to walk the tunnels and see the painted superbowl murals, press box, locker rooms, then you get to go out on to the field, among other stops. It's quiet and there's time to take photos and such in places that you wouldn't be able to on gamedays.

This is incorrect. The original stadium design proposed by the Giants for their sole use was designed like Pittsburgh's field. When Woody Johnson failed to get support for a West Side stadium, then the teams combined and the compromise is the monstrosity we have today.

Miss old giants stadium. Especially for what tickets cost, it just isn’t worth it to me. Best game I went to recently was a couple years ago I went to see Giants at Buffalo at Ralph Wilson. Best game I’ve been to since old giants stadium, it’s designed by the same guy who made the Giants OG stadium and Arrowhead. Better fan experience for sure.
.. even if they just kept the turnstyles and everything else still sucked in the new stadium, I’d be ok with it. As is it’s an affront. It’s still just a stadium but the lack of inspiration will always be there. Shame.
Metlifes a dump. you don't need a tour.
Yankee Stadium is nice, but its like a corporate dick sucking convention there during a game. Completely ruins the feel of watching a game there.

Worst stadium in the country. What the fuck were they thinking???

Are the trophies at Metlife not the real trophies? I always wondered that.

The trophies in the legacy club at Metlife are replicas. The real ones are in the Giants practice facility.
Was very much hoping it was going to be like Seattle, or a stadium that people would marvel at.
This stadium is not as good as many "older" facilities is an understatement.
To have a chance at being special and choking …
It's amazing how so much thought was put into this, and the end result was Tuna Can.
I heard the Giants were leaning towards and Indy type of stadium but the Jets altered the plans. Never heard Pittsburgh-ish.
Having the Jets give any input was bone head, but they naturally had to … was so hoping the Jets would have relocated to LA.
