Elliott ran for 983 yds last year avg 22 carries per game
Darkwa ran for 751 yds on 11 carries per game
If Darkwa had 22 carries per games he would easily have topped 1500 yds rushing last year Elliott had 983
Makes you stop and wonder why we needed to spend the #2 pick in the draft on a RB?
Why waste all those other carries on 1 and 2 yard runs...

I can see Gettleman getting shaky knees at drafting a QB so high- they are notoriously hard to predict

RBs have a 5 year shelf life (Darkwa's only really played one full season as a starter) Stewart is past his sell by date
Before you guys do the Barkley backflip remember the buzz around Perkins (McAdoo fell hard for it) Perkins might be done (failed his physical). Ya Darkwa gets banged up because he hits hard but he always bounces back

I'm guessing in that stretch of games from week 10-15, where he rushed 70-182 (2.6YPC) there were quite a few 1-2 yard runs. Maybe not, maybe a bunch were 0 or for negative yardage.

And Cedric Jones was amazing back in the day as well lol. Or how about the other Erik Flowers drafted by the Bills years ago who was dubbed the next Bruce Smith. Another total bust. There are just as many busts at DE as any other position.
Yesterday you said he averaged 6.3YPC last year. It dropped to 4.4YPC overnight!

Darkwa just had surgery to remove plate in his leg
He is recovering for surgery therefore is missing OTA .
He can't audition for any teams now
he will definitely be signed to some NFL team by the start pre season
