I'm going with EE ... as Barkley will get the defense to focus on him and DC will still use over the top help on OBJ that will leave EE with the best matchup consistently game in and out. SS will still get the opponents 2nd best CB.
EE should get open on most LB due to his speed and out muscle most DBs strength and height. He is a decent route runner his YAC just needs to improve ... but he will get the looks and touches by default.
With the state of the line, the question mark at QB, a new system, and a rookie RB, the slant to OBJ is the most reliable concept in the offense.
Even with all the attention paid to him, he still put up great numbers. If he stays healthy, I think he'll still be their #1 weapon and he'll put up great numbers again.
Engram and Barkley will no doubt get theirs as well and open things up for everyone else too. If that results in even a slight reduction in attention OBJ gets from D's, look out! We've seen how great he was when he was the sole focus of D's, and to me it really just depends on his ankle and overall health. If he's healthy, I think he has a monster year.
dude why don't you make a bold pick? Everyone knows that Darkwa is a lock for offensive player of the year.
A little early success from Barkley will make safeties hesitate just enough for Beckham to burn them.
Now if you're talking relative to expectations or average production from that position, I can see Engram having a chance, but no way he gets more receptions/yards (or even TDs) than a healthy Beckham.
Pray for the former. :)
Lmaoo. I can see this sticking for 2018
Ditto
Plus I think he shows a slight upward trend in skill and technique this year under Shumer.
that was my pick too!--but since you are always wrong, i'll go with Barkley instead.
Shurmur put Dalvin Cook right to work and featured him from the get-go. I see no difference with SB. He may not get 25 carries to start but he'll likely get 20 touches.
Rudolph for whatever reason wasn't tremendously productive in Shurmurs offense last year. I am going with Eli,Beckham AND Barkley as having greatly productive years
That's my pick. I think he'll win Comeback Player of the Year at the end of the season.
He's going to have the BEST OFFENSIVE YEAR IN LEAGUE HISTORY.
I SAID IT SO I GET CREDIT. 😁
