DeSean Jackson is here for first day of Bucs OTAs, but Jason Pierre-Paul and Brent Grimes are not. Three OL held out — Mo Donovan Smith, J.R. Sweezy or Demar Dotson.
This guy is one the of main reasons we won a championship in 2011. I thought the America's game from 2011 did a complete disservice in virtually ignoring his contributions to that team. He also came back from the injury and played great in 2016 before getting hurt.
And to think there were actually still some folks Â
Hands down. JPP won't be too handy at OTAs. Wonder if he'll be involved in any finger pointing. But it's ok, its only voluntary, not all hands on deck.

Quite a few years but it was time to move on. Got a 3rd round pick for an aging player who always seems to be hurt and also shed his salary after this year. Nice move by Gettleman, excited to see who steps it up as a pass rusher for us
RE: RE: And to think there were actually still some folks Â
Seriously - He's not on our team anymore. I wish him luck except when he plays us, and I'll thank him anytime I see him for his effort and contribution.
He was great in 2011 and yeah he didn't sustain that level of play he still was a damn good NYG.. JPP what a guy
I have to lol when fans call professional football player's a dog or lazy like they have a clue..
I'm sure he just rolled out of bed and managed to play 8 years in the NFL lol
Thanks for all the memories JPP
Jpp did a lot more good here than some might insist on believing. Great draft pick.
Get over the fucking cap hit already. The giants will be fine next year.
2011 is a long time ago. Past that it's been forgettable except for him getting a pay raise as a reward for blowing his hand up.
Our commitment to and reliance on JPP is a big reason this team has been dogshit since 2012. Anything other than that is revisionist history.
I think in the grand scheme of things, letting the offensive line collapse and bad draft after bad draft since Superbowl 46 are higher on the list than JPP.

But after this year we are done with him. No dead money in '19. Was a parting gift from JR. At ;east we got a 3rd round pick for him.
Next year we'll likely be paying $8M in dead cap space after we move/cut Vernon. Another parting gift.

That was so stupid dep... it cracked me up. Lol ...
yes, had me dying.

Isn’t USF also in Tampa?
It wasn't all of the problem, no.
But I don't care what he does with Tampa.

He is working out at the University of South Florida. He didn't want to travel too far from his home to attend OTA's.
Isn’t USF also in Tampa?
Exactly.

Nice Chubbs reference! Just easing the tension baby!
I wondered if JPP wrestles alligators on the side, and got his hand bitten off by one, and the fireworks was just a lame cover up excuse.

Haha, I thought this might be sarcasm but wasn’t sure.
