DeSean Jackson is here for first day of Bucs OTAs, but Jason Pierre-Paul and Brent Grimes are not. Three OL held out — Mo Donovan Smith, J.R. Sweezy or Demar Dotson.
They told him practice was at 10

but looking at his hands, he got there at 7:30

I crack myself up sometimes.
Nothing like making a solid first impression.

Hopefully there is something more to this, otherwise, bad look for him.

Eeeh, not your best effort dep.
Costing us $15M against the cap this year
Go Terps : 5/22/2018 2:13 pm : link
That's more than anyone else on our roster except Eli and Vernon.

Addition by Subtraction.

This guy is one the of main reasons we won a championship in 2011. I thought the America's game from 2011 did a complete disservice in virtually ignoring his contributions to that team. He also came back from the injury and played great in 2016 before getting hurt.
And to think there were actually still some folks

Hands down. JPP won't be too handy at OTAs. Wonder if he'll be involved in any finger pointing. But it's ok, its only voluntary, not all hands on deck.

But after this year we are done with him. No dead money in '19. Was a parting gift from JR. At ;east we got a 3rd round pick for him.

Next year we'll likely be paying $8M in dead cap space after we move/cut Vernon. Another parting gift.

Yup and I’m still here.

Jpp did a lot more good here than some might insist on believing. Great draft pick.

Get over the fucking cap hit already. The giants will be fine next year.
Basically
djm : 5/22/2018 7:55 pm : link
The giants traded Jpp for Ogletree and a big double cap hit this season when you get right down to it.
Good player for
TommyWiseau : 5/22/2018 7:57 pm : link
Quite a few years but it was time to move on. Got a 3rd round pick for an aging player who always seems to be hurt and also shed his salary after this year. Nice move by Gettleman, excited to see who steps it up as a pass rusher for us

2011 is a long time ago. Past that it's been forgettable except for him getting a pay raise as a reward for blowing his hand up.

Our commitment to and reliance on JPP is a big reason this team has been dogshit since 2012. Anything other than that is revisionist history.

And we care because?
DavidinBMNY : 5/22/2018 8:50 pm : link
Seriously - He's not on our team anymore. I wish him luck except when he plays us, and I'll thank him anytime I see him for his effort and contribution.

But I don't care what he does with Tampa.
I wish him well
GoBlue6599 : 5/22/2018 9:57 pm : link
He was great in 2011 and yeah he didn't sustain that level of play he still was a damn good NYG.. JPP what a guy
I have to lol when fans call professional football player's a dog or lazy like they have a clue..
I'm sure he just rolled out of bed and managed to play 8 years in the NFL lol
Thanks for all the memories JPP

I think in the grand scheme of things, letting the offensive line collapse and bad draft after bad draft since Superbowl 46 are higher on the list than JPP.
