stuff you can really understand why guys opt to stay away from OTA’s. It’s important to be there but you hate seeing these types of injuries. I don’t remember seeing as many non contact injuries years ago. Are these guys lifting too much and losing flexibility?

I completely agree, especially when they have the leverage to get a bigger contract (e.g. OBJ).
The year Gates is gone... jeez, they really do have terrible luck.
And yeah, this is why I don't begrudge players who haven't been paid yet for skipping voluntaries. This can and does happen almost every year - someone tears an ACL in the spring and that's the end of their season.
Atleast he will have time to fully heal for 2019 aka his contract season

Terrible news for them.
He was going to have s huge role this year

That's a good idea. Sorry to hear that about a good young player like Henry.
They make no difference.
They aren’t even doing much physically in practice. They’re half speed drills and reps. Very mind boggling how easily these players get hurt.
But when it comes to injuries in the regular season they're pikers compared to the Giants.
